Position: Forklift Operator
Vacancies: 1
Salary: $18.10 per hour (35 hours per week)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move products manually or with basic material handling equipment
• Pick orders and manage stock
• Weigh and label materials and goods
• Wrap, pack, and unpack items
• Sort, crate, and stack goods securely
• Install, lash, and secure cargo
• Store, transport, and distribute materials
• Maintain inventory and operate computerized inventory control systems

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of industry experience
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
• Excellent time management and communication abilities

Experience & Specialization:

• Familiarity with equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and industrial lift trucks
• Experience operating forklifts

Work Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Fast-paced work environment with repetitive tasks
• Heavy lifting and physically demanding responsibilities
• Requires excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Must be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling for extended periods
• Ability to manage a significant workload

Required Equipment:

• Steel-toed safety boots
